Deactivating vs Deleting Your Account

Understand your options when you want to leave the platform.

Deactivation

Temporary pause - Your account remains intact but is hidden.

• Profile hidden from search and public view
• All data preserved
• Can reactivate anytime by logging in
• Active bookings should be completed first

Deletion

Permanent removal - Your account and data are permanently deleted.

• All profile data is erased
• Portfolio photos are deleted
• Cannot be undone
• 30-day grace period before permanent deletion

How to Deactivate

1. Go to Settings > Account
2. Click Deactivate Account
3. Select a reason (optional)
4. Confirm with your password

How to Delete

1. Go to Settings > Account
2. Click Delete Account
3. Read the warnings carefully
4. Type "DELETE" to confirm
5. Enter your password
6. Click Permanently Delete Account
